Prince George Reining Horse Association is pleased to
announce it will be hosting a NRHA Judges Applicant Seminar on January 19th and

Reining Canada would like to extend its heartfelt
Congratulations to the following Canadians on their solid performances at the
2007 NRHA Futurity & Adequan Championship Show:
- Dany Tremblay & Tinsel Nic for a riveting performance that earned them a
7th place finish in the FEI World Reining Masters;
- Cody Sapergia & Dun Playing Tag for their stellar performance and top 3
finish in the NRHA Open Futurity;
- Cody Sapergia & JDS Shining Image for a great show finishing them in a
Top 25 position in the NRHA Open Futurity;
- Pierre-luc Phaneuf & Mr San Dun It for dynamic runs earning them a Top
35 finish in the NRHA Open Futurity and a Top 25 finish in the NRHA
Intermediate Open Futurity;
- Jesse Beckley & Nifty Nickers for sliding into a Top 10 finish in the
NRHA Limited Open Futurity
- Samantha Griffin & Smart N Great Sstar for their tie for 4th place in
the NRHA Non Pro Futurity;
- Samantha Griffin & Shining Whiz for their solid Top 10 finish in the
NRHA Non Pro Futurity;
- Amanda Antifaev & Tag Chex Topsail for their great performance landing
them in the Top 20 in the NRHA Non Pro Futurity & the Top 10 in the NRHA
Intermediate Non Pro Futurity PLUS a Co-Reserve Champion finish in the NRHA
Youth Non Pro Futurity;
- Ryan Burnett & Hello Hollywood Babe for spinning their way into a Top 10
finish in the NRHA Limited Non Pro Futurity;
- Cheryl Mitchell & Whiz Coast Jewel for sliding into 3rd place in the
North American Affiliate Championship in the NRHA Ltd Open plus a 6th place
in the NRHA Ltd Open;
- Shauna Oseen & Docs Last Boomemic for their stellar performances landing
them 3rd place in the North America Affiliate Championship in the NRHA
Novice Horse Non Pro plus a tie for 6th place in the NRHA Novice Horse Non
Pro and their great Champion finish in the NRHA Limited Non Pro;
- Shelbie Friesen & Rio Eyes for their dynamic performance that garnered
them a tie for 5th place in the North America Affiliate Championship in the
NRHA Limited Non Pro & a Top Ten finish in the North America Affiliate
Championship NRHA Youth 14-18 plus a Top Ten finish in the NRHA Limited Non
Pro;
- Cole Van Alstine & Lil Yuba Bar for their solid Top 10 finish in the
North America Affiliate Championship NRHA Youth 13 & Under;
- Kelsey Weins & Poster Boy Solano for their great Top 15 finish in the
North America Affiliate Championship NRHA Youth 13 & Under.
- Harvey Stevens aboard Petroleap with a fabulous Reserve Champion finish
in the Adequan North American Championship NRHA Intermediate Open & the NRHA
Intermediate Open class;
- Shannon Thompson & Miffilberry Pie for a great Top Ten finish in the
NRHA Unrestricted Youth; and
- Molly Stevens and Leta Lena Whiz on her Top Fifteen finish in the NRHA
Limited Open.

the greatest display of reining in North America!

Export Booth
Reining Canada would like to thank the many Canadians who
stopped by the Export Booth on Thursday night during the FEI World Reining
Masters. It was a great evening and Reining Canada hopes to make it annual
tradition. Please stay tuned to the website for photos from the evening.

2008 Memberships and
2007 AGM
2008 Reining Canada memberships should be arriving in your
mailbox and are available on the Reining Canada website. In addition, notice of
the 2007 Annual General Meeting has been posted. Mark the date, February 9, 2008
at the Westin Hotel in downtown Calgary, Alberta at 1:30pm.

Call for Volunteers
Reining Canada is looking for someone to assist on the
Communications Committee. Responsibilities will include assisting with the
production of the Slidin' Newsletter, including sourcing articles. Also will
include coordinating Reining Canada Press Releases, providing Reining Canada
articles to various Equine publication and assistance with regular communication
to reining enthusiasts.

Reining Canada is pleased to announce that it has received
applications for Affiliate Circuits for the following Associations:
- New Brunswick Codiac Reining Association
- Ontario Reining Horse Association

- Saskatchewan Reining Horse Association
- Western Canada Reining Horse Association
