Reining Canada would like to
congratulate all the Canadians who have
qualified for the WEG Finals to be held this
July at the WCRA's West Coast Classic in
Chilliwack, BC.
Kudo's to Griffin Quarter Horses, Lazy J
Performance Horses and Cochrane Ag Society for
all the hard work and effort to host these final
two CRI's in Canada.
Shawna Sapergia aboard All
Ready Doc owned by Doug Sapergia captured the
Championship on Saturday followed by Duane
Latimer aboard Tag Chex Topsail owned by Louann
Redden. Sunday's class saw Shawna claim the
title again aboard BL Whizabelle owned by
Danielle Hall, followed closely on her heels by
Vern Sapergia with Its Wimpys Turn owned by
Outrider Ranch.
A special thank you to all
the volunteers and a special thank you to Duane
Latimer for generously donating his time to
teach a clinic each afternoon to go towards
funding the event.

Reining Canada tient à
féliciter tous les canadiens qui qualifiés pour
la finale canadienne, en vue des Jeux Équestre
Mondiaux (WEG), qui se tient en juillet au 'West
Coast Classic' présenté par WCRA à Chilliwack
(CB).
Lors du week-end dernier à
Cochrane (AB) les Duane Latimer, Shawna Sapergia,
Vern Sapergia et Amanda Self ont réussi les
critères de qualification établis par Canada
Hippique et 'Canadian Reining Committe'. Chacun
de ces quatre cavaliers ont présenté des 68 et
plus dans au moins trois CRI différents.
Félicitations à 'Griffin
Quarter Horses', 'Lazy J Performance Horses' et
'Cochrane Ag Society' pour les nombreuses heures
consacrées à la présentation des deux derniers
CRI en sol canadien.
Shawna Sapergia , avec 'All
Ready Decowned' propriété de Doug Sapergia, fut
Championne samedi, suivie de Duane Latimer aux
rênes de 'Tag Chex Topsail', propriété de Louann
Redden. L'épreuve de dimanche a vu Shawna
Sapergia se mériter à nouveau la palme avec 'BL
Whizabelle', propriété de Danielle Hall, suivie
de très près par Vern Sapergia montant 'Its
Wimpy Turn' propriété du Outrider Ranch.
Des remerciements s'adressent
à tous les bénévoles ainsi qu'à Duane Latimer
qui a gracieusement présenté une clinique samedi
et une dimanche afin de financer l'événement.
